Dedicated to those now
at Rainbow Bridge
Kylo 1985 - 1993 RIP. Kylo reinforced my love of the breed, he was a fantastic dog and was my best friend.
Tara 1987 - 1995 RIP. My first puppy GSD, and very much my dog, where I went, she went. Sadly suddenly passed away aged 8 years.
Badger - GSD Rescue Dog - suffered Torsion and had to be given sleep after only 5 and a half weeks of living with us. RIP my sweetheart.
Thunder, our 2nd GSD Rescue dog aged nearly 9 when we took him in. A perfect gent, idolised by us all and everyone who met him. RIP - Ambassador to the breed.
Jake, our prison dog, taken in by us aged 14 months old, a lovely black/gold long haired male, wonderful temperament and loved by us all. Given sleep on 31.12.2003 aged 8 after suffering CDRM. RIP my angel.
Viva, our beautiful little girl, totally devoted to Jake and was distraught when he went away. Gradually recovered and lived to the ripe old age of 12 years, passed away 25.2.2006 - see you at Rainbow Bridge
Xanti - our gorgeous cheeky girl passed away peacefully aged nearly 13 years on 24.2.2009. Loved by everybody who ever met her, she was a real character and the laughs she gave us over the years will be sorely missed. RIP sweetheart.

RAINBOW BRIDGE
There is a bridge connecting heaven and earth
It is called Rainbow Bridge because of its many colours
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows,
hills, valleys with lush green grass
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this special place
There is always food and water and warm spring weather
The old and frail are young again
Those who are maimed are made whole again
They play all day with each other
There is only one thing missing
They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth
So each day they run and play until the day comes
when one suddenly stops playing and looks up !
The nose twitches !
The ears are up !
The eyes are staring !
And this one suddenly runs from the group !
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet,
you take him or her into your arms and embrace
your face is kissed again and again,
and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated

The Love of a German Shepherd Owner
You were my pets throughout the years
When you had to leave, I cried many tears
It has been years since you have been gone
Your memories are in my heart where they belong
Your undying devotion to me was clear to see
So I was proud to say you belonged to me
But your time on earth was far too short
But a valuable lesson I had been taught
Whilst I loved you with all my heart
The loss of you just tore me apart
I am not the only one to have suffered this pain
To someone, somewhere, it will happen again
Now at peace and resting in dog heaven above
From those left behind, we send you our love
